Medical Imaging Technology is a study of the techniques to perform Imaging of the human beings in Radiology Department like X-ray, CT scan, MRI etc. for diagnosis of Diseases X-ray technologists, also called radiographers or radiologic technologists, are health professionals who use X-rays and other forms of radiation to produce images of various body parts and activities, such as the movement of blood through a person's heart valves.
They then pass these images on to radiologists (doctors who specialize in interpreting Xrays) to screen for, diagnose and treat health conditions such as cancer and broken bones.
Course Duration - 2 years
A passed in 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Biology from recognised board is eligible.
