The goal of the programme is to provide in-depth education and sound training in the field of Nursing with a emphasis on preparing nurses/health workers to meet the basic health needs of the community as well as to meet the requirements of emerging hospitals/nursing homes. The ANM course is affiliated to UP STATE MEDICAL FACULTY, LUCKNOW and approved by INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL, NEW DELHI. This course aims at preparing the students for promoting the health, preventing and curing the diseases of the society of Rural and Urban areas.
DURATION : ANM course duration is 2 years comprising classroom teaching and clinical training.
Minimum and Maximum age for admission is 17 and 35 on or before 31st Dec of the year in which admission is sought. Minimum education 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB/PCM) with English or Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Civics, Education) and English Core/English Elective or Health care. Science Vocational stream only with aggregate of 40% marks, 10% seats are reserved for male candidates for GNM Programme.
Note: English is not compulsory for ANM Course (At least 2 of the subject should be matched for eligibility)

We have the experienced faculty members, who believe that intellectual development, creativity and curiosity are integral parts of the educational process and we feel that effective motivation and purposeful self activity is conducive to optimum learning. We accept we have the responsibility to train the students to acquire the knowledge, develop skills and positive attitude to enable them to carry out their duties and responsibilities as competent professional nurses.
Infrastructure is, well planed with large open area, well furnished offices, ventilated class rooms, well equipped library and a computer lab. There is a big assembly hall, recreation room and a visitor room for student nurses.
We also recognize that the students should be well trained to enable them to give care to the patient with the spirit of devotion, sympathy and commitment. They are able to make decision in time of emergency and able to give comprehensive nursing care to the patients, individuals, families and communities.
For clinical posting the college is affiliated/provides training in primary health centre, community health centre and reputed hospitals of Bareilly and nearby region.
