Mechanical Engineering is concerned with the design, construction, installation, commissioning and operation of industries, power stations, engines, and machines. It is one of the oldest and the broadest disciplines of engineering. Mechanical engineers have always been in demand and they are at the forefront in technological innovation. They will continue to lead the world by making significant contributions in manufacturing, energy generation, transportation, waste management, health and environment. Mechanical engineers use the principles of mathematics, material science, physics and economics design, to manufacture and maintain mechanical equipments.
DURATION : 4 Years
Mechanical engineering is one of the highest employment generators among all the engineering streams. Due to the widespread usage of machinery and technology, mechanical engineers can find employment almost anywhere in the world. Mechanical Engineers touch almost every aspect of technology. They create machines, products and technological systems that benefit society. A mechanical engineering graduate can choose a career in Automation, Production, Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM), Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Reverse Engineering, Power Generation, Nuclear Reactors, Air-conditioning Equipments, Aircraft Engines, Electrical and Transportation Equipment, Refineries and Auto mobiles manufacturing Industries.
Mechanical Engineering includes the science and art of formulation, design, development and control of systems and components involving thermodynamics, mechanics, hydraulics mechanics, and the conversion of energy into useful work. The undergraduate program of study in Mechanical Engineering at Shri Siddhi Vinayak Institute of Technology Bareilly (UP), addresses both the quest to understand, how things work and the desire to put this understanding to practical use. The student body is guided by our committed faculty members who merit national and international recognition, and who are members of prestigious engineering societies and counted among the outstanding scholars in their profession.
The faculty is committed to the advancement of the fundamental Engineering sciences, encountered by Undergraduates in a curriculum that is heavy in “basics.” This is balanced by their demonstrated interest and active participation in practical developments as well. Thus, our graduates can function at the leading edge of engineering practice, tackling jobs that are far from dull or routine.
